4. Ben's Story.
Ben was born with
spinebiffida - he was in and out of hospital for 3
years having several operations on his spine and a shunt
in his head. His last operation
was December 06 which so far has been successful.

5. Six months later, still only 5
years old, he wanted to raise money for toys for Addenbrookes D2
children's ward. He ran for 1 mile, swam 5 widths of the
swimming pool and rode his bike 5 miles.

His families were supporting him all the way! |

7.
The local press loved the story, he went on TV both, BBC and ITV, all
the local Radio stations and in local papers - 'Our little Champion!' |

He raised over £4,500 and cheques are still coming in! The hospital are
very proud of Ben, as are we all! |

The Hardwick's are a lively bunch this is John's dad, Leslie, a great
Bible teacher, now 79 years old - playing on a slide! |
